This summer brought many memorable milestones:
- a milestone birthday
- a 4200-mile road trip through America's heartland
- new golf courses, new bike trails and time with friends
Our "Tour de Middle America" took us through some of our country's most beautiful landscapes, small towns, highways, canyons, badlands, forests, rivers and lakes.
Every stop had its own personality, from the historic room where Eisenhower once stayed (South Dakota, Custer National Park) to the cottages along a golf course (Wisconsin, Sand Valley), to the beautiful lake home that our friends built themselves! (Michigan, Big Bass Lake).

Milestones come in many forms - a birthday, an adventure, and even finding the perfect place to call home. One unexpected takeaway from our trip was how much it reinforced our appreciation for Austin and the neighborhoods and homes I'm fortunate to represent.
